so anyways, i found this moth outside one of my labs last night(the night before the presentation). quite a beauty. and really large. fluttering around like how a 10$ note ought to.

project mate chewwye got super excited when he saw the photo cos mr funny apparently thinks the moth has a pattern which resembles an "A"(the grade). lols.

first came across my dad's skates many years ago(primary)

they were pretty much similar to the ones above, with slightly thicker wheels and leather straps.

i recall pumping singer oil into its bearings daily and going everywhere around my neighbourhood on them. haha

they officially crispy-ed after a year or so of my abuse. whoops.
nonetheless, thus begun yet another one of my 'love affairs'.

my dad told me as a kid that ants could predict weather changes. it was true too, as before heavy rain comes you could usually find fresh anthills forming as evidence of some form of bracing for the incoming downpour.

i saw some this noon on my way back from lunch as i walked on my block 2 garden.

back when i was a kid i used to spend so much time in libraries (geylang east in particular).
i had almost all of my family /extended family's library cards at my disposal.

and there was this phase when i would read/borrow all the animal books that i could find. the insect, animal and undersea kingdoms fascinated me.

and as the years went by, i got to know that not just ants, but many other creatures in this have that ability of predicting weather changes in many ways. even humans(with sight/smell and with rheumatism haha)

i dreamt i received a small book and was quite happy with the first half. think i woke up before i got much further into it. i think the cover was maroon.

probably cos i actually squeezed out time to complete dan brown's latest offering, but didnt really enjoy it. not as much as the previous two i guess. its hard to write sequels and live it up.

comic strips dont really face that problem though ahaha and i can re-read them 4182394010 times for some reason.



art owns literature. haha im greatly biased.

though i really do admit that i also greatly appreciate the imaginative freedom a novel gives a reader.

oops. just yesterday i had this vivid dream.

i remember hanging out in some secret hideout next to some canals. i remember spending some time swimming and jumping across those canals with some friends. i remember having an old friend visit me there. i remember finding a kitten. i remember my old friend liking the kitten.

i remember driving off. i remember attaching the kitten's leash(if they do have something like that) to the steering wheel, and it trying to steer. zzz. i remember getting stopped at a police road block due to some terrorist scare.

as i entered the bay to get my car checked, there was a huge explosion in the distance off the side of the highway(in some urban area i believe)and everything started to become chaotic.

it cuts off here i believe.

i have destructive dreams.

also, i remember having a brother. (i do wonder what it would be like to have a real brother sometimes. a close one. or perhaps its just influence from prison break)

.

so on destructive dreams, there was this couple of others that i've had about incoming cataclysmic events. so far one of them ended peacefully with not much damage done (by a tsunami) and the other (nuclear holocaust) just didnt end.

i do have to point out here, that not all my dreams are like this. i have plenty of happy dreams haha.
